Who We Are

Oslund Udo Little, PLLC (formerly Bergman Oslund Udo Little) is the Pacific Northwest’s premier Mesothelioma and Sexual Abuse Law Firm with offices in Seattle and Portland. Since 1995, our primary focus has been helping families impacted by asbestos exposure and institutional childhood sexual abuse.

We are proud to be deeply rooted in the Pacific Northwest, serving communities across Washington and Oregon with compassion and skill. As a small law firm with a narrow focus, clients choose us because we provide personalized, empathetic representation.

Whether fighting for compensation over a mesothelioma diagnosis or helping a survivor hold an institution accountable for sexual abuse, our decades of trial experience and proven track record of success can help you pursue justice with equal parts care and confidence.

OUR CASE RESULTS

A Legacy of Asbestos & Mesothelioma Litigation

For 30 years, Oslund Udo Little has been at the forefront of asbestos litigation in the Pacific Northwest. Our attorneys have recovered more than $1 billion in verdicts and settlements for individuals and families impacted by asbestos-related diseases.

We are proud to have secured some of the most influential verdicts in Washington and Oregon history, including:

  • A $30 million jury verdict for an Oregon resident diagnosed with mesothelioma after being exposed to asbestos while working for Ameron International Corporation.
  • A $5.75 million verdict against Volkswagen Group for secondhand asbestos exposure that led to a fatal mesothelioma diagnosis.
  • A Washington Supreme Court victory that enabled workers deliberately exposed to asbestos to sue their employers for occupational disease.

Our decades of experience representing mesothelioma victims throughout Washington and Oregon have given us deep knowledge of the Pacific Northwest’s most common sources of asbestos exposure, including the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Seattle’s maritime and refinery industries, and Portland’s industrial sites.

We have developed an extensive proprietary database of job sites, products, and companies responsible for exposing workers, their families, and consumers to this dangerous material.

Fighting for Survivors of Juvenile Detention Abuse

Our attorneys are committed to standing with survivors of sexual abuse in Washington and Oregon’s juvenile detention centers. Our trauma-informed legal team approaches every case with confidentiality, empathy, and a drive for justice.

We represent survivors who experienced abuse at state-run facilities, such as Green Hill School, Echo Glen Children’s Center, Maple Lane School, Naselle Youth Camp, and King County Youth Detention, helping bring their stories to light.

At Oslund Udo Little, we have filed multiple high-profile lawsuits exposing the widespread, systematic failures by Washington’s juvenile justice system, including the following:

At Oslund Udo Little, we work alongside survivors to help them reclaim their voices and pursue justice with the compassion and care they deserve.

One of the advantages of choosing our local law firm is that all of our attorneys are licensed and actively practice in Washington and Oregon. This means we are familiar with the court processes, know the judges, and have experience handling cases through appeal—even all the way to the Supreme Court.

“While national law firms may have many offices and attorneys, many do not maintain an office in Washington or Oregon. They may try to send attorneys to meet with you who are not licensed to practice here.
