Biography Overview

Ruby has helped people with injury and wrongful death claims hold corporations, government entities, other wrongdoers, and their insurance companies accountable since 2016. She has represented sexual violence survivors, asbestos victims and their families, and people harmed or killed by medical negligence, government neglect, and construction site mismanagement alongside some of Washington’s best trial attorneys, including those here at Oslund Udo Little—formerly known as Bergman Oslund Udo Little. She also volunteers with the Sexual Violence Law Center and the Seattle Clemency Project.

Ruby recognizes that people need attorneys during the worst moments of their lives. For that reason, being invited into people’s lives and asked to help them take on powerful government and corporate entities and make their stories heard is the greatest honor of her life.

Before becoming a lawyer, Ruby worked with the campus sexual assault movement, where she helped survivors navigate college campus procedures and facilitated consent and bystander intervention trainings. She also worked with King County Sexual Assault Resource Center’s CourtWatch Program, which observed court proceedings involving sexual violence to offer feedback to judges and court staff and help make the system more effective in its handling of cases involving sexual assault and child abuse victims.

When not at work, Ruby spends her time wandering Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood with her very miniature min pin, Pip. She loves watching people share their stories at The Moth, do stand-up comedy, and pretend to fall in love on reality television.
