Advocating for Sexual Abuse Survivors Who Are Hesitant to Come Forward

I always knew that I’d want to be a trial lawyer. I love being in the courtroom. I love advocating and I love litigation. What makes this specific field very unique is you’re dealing with a group of individuals who really don’t want to come forward, who don’t want to talk about some of the worst experiences of their life. And so I not only have to be a lawyer, but I also have to be someone who cares. I have to be someone who can get clients, complete strangers, to trust me with some of their deepest, darkest, and most difficult secrets.
