Coming Forward with a Sexual Abuse Lawsuit
Video Transcript
Some survivors of sexual abuse believe they can’t come forward because they don’t have all of the evidence. And that’s very common. You don’t need all of the evidence in order to come forward and be successful in a sex abuse lawsuit. You just need to come forward and tell us your story. Tell us what happened, where it was, and your best recollection of who did this to you. Because we represent almost a thousand survivors of sexual abuse in Washington, we have a database that shows us the repeat offenders of this abuse. And we may be able to locate who your abuser was, even if you can’t recall their name or only have a partial name. We employ investigators who find out the information for you. We obtain public records as well as confidential records to corroborate your recollections and find other witnesses who are able to corroborate your recollections. And so we’re able to fill in the blanks for you that way. We know that trauma is not kind on the memory. And so we’re ready to help you with whatever you need.
